Chew-On-It was hatched on 5th April 2005 by bandit, Jac Jac.

It has been 2 years since bandits have graduated from the huge family of RJCSB. This is where we hope to offer a place where bandits can keep in touch and share their varying experiences. And at times when it seems to be "pouring" in any bandit's life, this is the place where the warmth of bandits can possibly soothe those negative moments.

And always remember, leave no bandits "uncovered"!

Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - lagging :

hello all.. my apologies, i'm really lagging. i've been wanting to blog since 1st may the gathering at youwei's (aka mr cheapskate! HAHA :P kidding la!) house. and now its erm, 10th may. i'm ten days late. oopsie... =D

gathering:
it was really really really great to see all again! youwei was such a wonderful host too, really appreciate him opening up his house to us. guess the ri guys have been there countless times, but not the rest of us, so we must make up for it by going over more often now hahahah. lets make his house the official rj batch gathering place.. hee. sitting ard the table like a big family having dinner, counting 1-2-3 again.. was just such a nice feeling. kinda felt like old times. and i cldnt help thinking, how rare it is for us to be able to all have a meal together like that again.. so was just savouring each moment. and then standing ard the piano as the talented host plays and we sing along.. how nice! next time, we shld prepare song sheets. heh. then again, its the spontaneity and the spirit of the whole thing that made it special.. it wld be different if we all came prepared to sing. polar bear... ooh... nice game, haven played it in ages. such a nice game to play in large groups. the thing abt guessing who are the polar bears is to put yourslf in the gamemaster's shoes and try and figure out whom the person wld choose. so saying, i think i make quite a bad gamemaster. felt a bit bad that a lot of pple didnt get to be anything. heh :P

syf:
dont really know what to say.. in a way, its a sensitive topic. i know many juniors worked very very hard and generally the whole band deserved to get better. duck rice vs chicken rice. my untrianed ears preferred rj's version.. we'll never know how the judges came up with the results that they announced. ah wells. getting the coveted title is no doubt what everyone wants, but i guess at the end of the day, one's band life is more than abt getting an award or title.

lord of the dance:
haha. girl's night out to kallang theatre.. so cool can jump seat. oops :D i like irish and celtic music! so nice... hehe.

see the women prancing ard and leaping abt the stage as if they weighed as light as feathers.. how cool to be able to move as fast as that! hee.

so now, there's the bad lord vs the real lord btw jx and angeline.. hahaha.. i sit on the fence. i liked the music! and 2 pieces in particular. if i had to cast my vote, i vote for the fairy like elfish person.. who's flute (?) playing reminded me of teng kok playing the i dunno what in warrior's dream aka kah chun's piece.

yes song wee is very slim now, so's amir. the wonders of ns? hahaha :P

miscellaneous:
hmm.. everyone's been really busy ah? for me, not so much of busy, more of lazy.. haha. time flies and i just get used to this slack lifestyle.. hoho. lets have another outing! (i sound like jx hehe) dun worry jx, J!E!FUN! POOL! will come! eventually! btw, guiness world records reminds me of the record we broke in first orientation.. hahaha.. how funny, all of us just sitting in the hall passing some msg. what msg was it ah, does anyone rmmr? :P

hihi gab and jac jac, looks like u 2 are quite smart trying to make this into a tagboard, one that's super dee duper long and can write tonnes of things in it. guess not many are as "intell..." as you and I!!! ahha1!! ok. enough of crappings, otherwise this will turn into a subset of the blog.. haha. wells. take care both of you, till we have more people in this little corner of our space..cheers!
