Chew-On-It was hatched on 5th April 2005 by bandit, Jac Jac.
It has been 2 years since bandits have graduated from the huge family of RJCSB.
This is where we hope to offer a place where bandits can keep in touch and share their varying experiences.
And at times when it seems to be "pouring" in any bandit's life, this is the place where the warmth of bandits can possibly soothe those negative moments.
And always remember, leave no bandits "uncovered"!

food for thought
:
food for thought:"where were the days when we all learn the same things?"the answer to this seemingly easy question: THE DAYS DIDN'T EXIST AT ALL IN THE PAST!
firstly, when we first came into being, we already had different parentage, which also means we're different in our heritage composition. that's a great determinating factor in which we see things. don't all of you agree with me that our parents have in one way or another influenced our current behaviour, actions and values, the style which we talk, walk, the way we keep our houses clean or rather unclean for some of us, whether we wear slippers at home, and all the likes/ dislikes.
so from the very beginning, we've been tuned by our parents to look at things from a certain perspective. true, the bandits have been through much thick and thin together, sharing common experiences and being at the same place at the same time together. However, these are inadequate to say that we all learn the same things.
for a simple reason: when we see things, we see them from a many different perspectives, that's why you have people who are optimistic and pessismistic and the whole array of human characteristics when the same thing happens to two different people.
to put it even simpler, let me leave this place, (trying to sound intelligent) with another food for thought, "you are in a mercedes B-class (it's a model of a car btw) on the driver's seat, the cars around you are, on the left a red toyota, on the right, a green nissan and in front there's an army MID 5-tonner and behind there's a white mercedes. you look through all the glass windows and windscreen and you see different images of the outside world. Similary, the 3 mirrors that you look into show the surrondings in different angles. Imagine if a person can have 3 different perspectives to life, then what about the so many of us?
Perhaps a more apt way of putting this would be: we learn the same things,
but we assimilate them differently...
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
